ANTENNAPORN

1. No User Accounts

AntennaPorn does not require user accounts or registration. You can browse the antenna photo gallery, upload antenna tower photography, vote on photos, and leave comments without creating an account or providing any personal information such as a name or email address. All uploads are anonymous by default.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Upload Data

When you upload a photo to AntennaPorn, we store:

• The image file itself.
• The title, description, and tags you provide.
• A unique upload token (generated and stored in your browser's localStorage) that lets you manage your submissions.

2.2 EXIF Metadata

Photos often contain EXIF metadata embedded by your camera or phone. When you upload an image, we extract and store EXIF data including but not limited to:

• GPS coordinates (latitude and longitude) -- used to place your antenna photo on the Antenna Map.
• Camera make and model.
• Date and time the photo was taken.
• Focal length, aperture, ISO, and other camera settings.

If you do not want GPS or other metadata stored, we recommend stripping EXIF data from your photos before uploading. Most operating systems and many free tools can remove EXIF data.

2.3 IP Addresses

We log IP addresses associated with uploads, votes, and comments for abuse prevention purposes. IP addresses are used to:

• Detect and prevent spam, vote manipulation, and abusive behavior.
• Enforce bans on users who repeatedly violate our Terms of Service.
• Comply with valid legal requests from law enforcement.

We do not publicly display IP addresses or share them with third parties except as required by law.

2.4 Votes and Comments

When you vote on a photo, your vote is associated with a voter_id cookie stored in your browser. When you leave a comment, we store the comment text and associate it with your IP address for moderation purposes. Comments are displayed publicly with the label "Anonymous" and do not reveal your identity.

4. Third-Party Services

4.1 Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics (measurement ID: G-S7C2RXPLQE) to understand how visitors use AntennaPorn. Google Analytics collects information such as pages visited, time spent on site, browser type, device type, and approximate geographic location. This data is aggregated and does not personally identify you. For more information, see Google's Privacy Policy. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

4.2 Google AdSense

We display advertisements through Google AdSense. Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your browsing history. You can manage your ad personalization preferences at Google Ads Settings. For more information, see How Google uses information from sites that use its services.

4.3 Cloudflare

AntennaPorn uses Cloudflare for DNS, CDN, DDoS protection, and SSL. Cloudflare may process your IP address and set cookies for security purposes. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy for details.

5. Data Retention

Uploaded photos and associated metadata are retained for as long as the photo remains on the Site. If a photo is deleted (by the uploader via their management token, or by an administrator), the photo file and its metadata are removed from our systems. IP address logs are retained for a reasonable period for abuse prevention and may be purged periodically.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your data:

• Access: You can request to know what data we hold about you.
• Deletion: You can request deletion of your uploaded content and associated data. If you still have your upload management token, you can delete your uploads directly from the My Uploads page.
• Rectification: You can request correction of inaccurate data.
• Data Portability: You can request a copy of your data in a portable format.
• Objection: You can object to the processing of your data for specific purposes.

7. GDPR Compliance

For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or other jurisdictions with similar data protection laws:

• Our legal basis for processing upload data is legitimate interest (operating the antenna photo gallery service).
• Our legal basis for processing IP addresses is legitimate interest (abuse prevention and site security).
• Our legal basis for cookies is consent (for non-essential cookies like analytics and advertising) and legitimate interest (for essential cookies like voter_id).
• You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

8. Children's Privacy

AntennaPorn is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since the Site does not require accounts or personal information, the risk of inadvertent collection is minimal.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of AntennaPorn after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
